WASHINGTON — The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced its weekly honors in women’s soccer. The awards are for games played from September 7-13.

Offensive Player of the Week: Morgane Zinn (So., Montclair, N.J.), Richmond
Defensive Player of the Week: Pepper Escher (So., Brewster, Mass.) Saint Louis
Rookie of the Week: Riga Kallaba (Fr., Chicago, Ill.), Loyola Chicago

Morgane Zinn makes her second appearance on the Player of the Week honors following a two-goal, two-assist week. The Montclair, New Jersey native delivered the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over VMI, her second game-winner of the year. She followed that with a goal and two assists against Howard to help push the Spiders past the Bison, 4-1. Richmond sits atop the conference with a 5-0-3 record and has won three-straight games for the first time since 2021.

Pepper Escher had a strong weekend for the Billikens, collecting 13 saves while allowing just one goal across two games against Southeast Missouri State and Kansas. The sophomore netminder put up a career-best five saves in a 4-0 shutout win over SEMO before topping herself with eight saves against the formerly voting-getting Kansas Jayhawks. Escher made a key save on a penalty kick in the 85th minute to keep her squad within striking range.

Riga Kallaba picked a great time to score her first collegiate goal, providing the go-ahead goal versus Marquette to help earn a 1-1 draw decision against the Golden Eagles. Kallaba found the back of the net in the 66th minute to lead the Ramblers to a split against a strong Marquette squad.
