WASHINGTON — The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced its weekly honors in women’s soccer. The awards are for games played from September 14-20.

Offensive Player of the Week: Addison Schaffer (Fr., Lake in the Hills, Ill.), Loyola Chicago
Defensive Player of the Week: Allison Deardorff (Sr., Itasca, Ill.), Loyola Chicago
Rookie of the Week: Shiloh Moore (Fr., Cinnaminson, N.J.), La Salle

Addison Schaffer made her impact felt in Loyola Chicago’s league opener against Fordham, scoring the game-winning goal in the seventh minute before adding an assist to an insurance goal later. Schaffer is tied for the team lead in points and will look to spearhead a Ramblers squad that is currently tied for third in the conference in overall win percentage.

Allison Deardorff was another reason the Ramblers came away victorious Sunday. Deardorff posted her sixth shutout of the season and 24th of her career against Fordham. Deardorff made eight saves in goal on 14 shots faced and is currently on a six-match unbeaten streak. She tied the program's all-time record and needs just one more shutout to hold the record outright.

Shiloh Moore came up big for the Explorers this weekend, scoring the game-winning goal in the 88th minute to give La Salle a 2-1 victory over Davidson. It was Moore's second career goal and her second game-winning goal in as many games. Moore’s goal gives La Salle the early jump on the A10 standings, as they were one of five programs to come away with a win on the opening weekend of conference play.
