NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – On Monday, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association released its Week 3 poll. A total of 25 teams are ranked, as college coaches from across the nation vote based on weekly performances and results. Richmond checked in at No. 25.
This season, the Spiders have played three ranked opponents. To open the season, Richmond fell 10-9 to then-No. 23 Penn State before defeating No. 12 Virginia, 12-11.
After earning a 16-11 win over William & Mary last Wednesday and narrowly falling to No. 24 Duke, 15-14, at Robins Stadium, Richmond entered the IWLCA poll.
