WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference selected Richmond senior Alexis Morton as its Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week, and Davidson senior Allie Hartnett as Defensive Player of the Week. George Washington freshman Parker Febo earned Rookie of the Week honors. The league announced the awards on Monday for games from Feb. 16-22.
 
Morton put together an exceptional pair of performances to lead the Spider offense to high-scoring totals. The attacker from Manhasset, N.Y. tallied nine goals and six assists for 15 points across two games, collecting one ground ball. Morton recorded five goals and three assists in the Spiders’ 16-11 victory at William & Mary before posting four goals and three assists in a narrow 15-14 loss to No. 20 Duke.
 
Harnett anchored the Davidson defense to a gritty win over Coastal Carolina, helping hold the Chanticleers to just six shots on goal. A Massilon, Ohio native, Harnett recorded three caused turnovers, three ground balls, and one draw control in the 6-5 result.
 
Starting both games for George Washington, Febo helped the Revolutionaries earn two victories last week. The attacker from Summit, N.J. scored four goals in a 15-10 win over American, recording two assists as well. Febo added three goals and two assists George Washington’s 17-7 victory over Radford on Saturday, concluding a tremendous week for the rookie.
