WASHINGTON — The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced its weekly honors in women’s soccer. The awards are for games played from August 17-23.

Offensive Player of the Week: Morgane Zinn (So., Montclair, N.J.), Richmond
Defensive Player of the Week: Addisen Nicholson (So., Ellington, Conn.), Rhode Island
Rookie of the Week: Emily Morgan (Fr., Robbinsville, N.J.), Rhode Island

Morgane Zinn earned her Offensive Player of the Week nod with two goals and an assist across the Spiders’ two matches this week. The sophomore defender secured her first career brace, including the match-winning goal, in a 3-0 victory over Queens. Zinn also supplied an assist on the match-tying goal against American to help Richmond earn a draw and keep the Spiders undefeated through three games for just the third time in the last 25 years.

Addisen Nicholson made a very successful collegiate debut against Northeastern this week, stopping all seven shots put on goal to preserve her first clean sheet. The sophomore netminder helped keep the Rams out of the loss column with a 0-0 draw versus the Huskies.

Emily Morgan has worked her way into the starting lineup as a freshman, making starts for a Rams squad that faced Northeastern and Duke this past week. Against the second-ranked Blue Devils, Morgan found the back of the net for her first career goal and the Rhody’s lone tally of the match.
