WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 selected Richmond junior Meghan Rode as its Under Armour Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and George Washington sophomore Gabi Greth as the Defensive Player of the Week. George Washington freshman Mia Milkowski earned Rookie of the Week honors. The league announced the awards on Monday for games played from March 30 – April 5.
 
Rode tallied 10 points across two matches last week, leading Richmond to a pair of victories. The attacker from Garden City, N.Y. fueled the Spiders to a narrow 15-14 victory over South Florida by contributing eight total points, scoring two goals and dishing six assists – including what would prove to be the game-winner early in the fourth quarter. She added a pair of goals on Saturday as Richmond cruised past La Salle, 20-2.
 
Greth, a goalkeeper from Ashland, Va., led George Washington to a win over George Mason on Saturday with a strong performance in net. Greth played all 60 minutes and made 10 saves on 19 shots faced, anchoring the Revolutionaries’ defensive effort in the 12-9 victory.
 
Milkowski made the most of her starting role against the Patriots, recording a hat trick on five shots on goal. The attacker from Rumson, N.J. also caused a turnover, closing out the strong all-around performance.
