WASHINGTON — The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced its weekly honors in field hockey. The awards are for games played from October 26-November 1.

Offensive Player of the Week: Erika Culp (Sr., Wyomissing, Pa.), Saint Joseph’s
Defensive Player of the Week: Mairead Carey (Fr., Stow, Mass.), Richmond
Rookie of the Week: Ise Adams (Fr., Goirle, Netherlands), Davidson

These are the last weekly honors for the 2026 season. The Atlantic 10 Field Hockey Tournament will take place later this week at Cary Street Field in Richmond, Va. The semifinals are Thursday, with top-seeded Saint Joseph’s facing fourth-seeded Davidson at 11 a.m. and second-seeded Richmond and third-seeded VCU meeting in a Capital City showdown at 2 p.m. Thursday’s winners meet in the Tournament final Saturday at noon. All three games will air on ESPN+.

Erika Culp led Saint Joseph’s with three goals and an assist as the Hawks routed La Salle on Friday, 7-0. The win locked up the outright Atlantic 10 regular-season title with a perfect 6-0 record, SJU’s first outright title since 2023. Culp’s three goals and seven points were individual single-game career highs.

In a game that had seeding implications, Mairead Carey came up with three saves as Richmond defeated VCU on Friday, 4-1. That allowed the Spiders to earn the second seed for this weekend’s tournament, while the host Rams will be the third seed.

Ise Adams scored twice in Davidson’s 7-1 win over Lock Haven on Friday night, which secured the fourth seed for the Wildcats to this weekend’s tournament. Both of Adams’ goals came in a three-minute span of the second quarter, as the 'Cats built a 3-0 halftime lead on the way to the six-goal victory.
