George Mason, Rhode Island Capture Indoor Track and Field Weekly Awards

WASHINGTON – George Mason sophomore Davian Burke was recognized as the Atlantic 10 Conference Under Armour Men's Track Performer of the Week. Rhode Island graduate student Joachim Ennoo received Men’s Field Performer of the Week and his freshman teammate Lucas Andrade earned Men’s Rookie of the Week, the A-10 announced on Tuesday.  

Rhode Island senior Lily Saul collected A-10 Under Armour Women’s Track Performer of the Week and George Mason graduate student Kennedy Drish earned Women’s Field Performer of the Week. Saul’s freshman teammate Reagan Garibaldi was tabbed as the Women’s Rookie of the Week. The awards are for competitions from Jan. 19 – 25.  

Burke set a personal record in the 60M Hurdles at the Hokie Invitational. He placed third in the event with a time of 7.95, breaking his previous best by eight seconds. Burke, a Henrico, VA native, holds the third fastest 60M Hurdles time in the conference.  

Ennoo, a Leominster, MA native, led Rhode Island with a second-place finish in the triple jump at the BU Scarlet & White Invitational. Ennoo recorded a mark of 15.61m (51'2.75"), the top mark in the A-10 and 30th best in Division I.  

Andrade captured a first-place finish in the 60M Hurdles at the BU Scarlet & White Invitational. The Whitman, MA native won the event with a conference-best time of 7.93 seconds. 

Sault set a Rhode Island program record in the 800M at the BU Scarlet & White Invitational. Breaking her previous school record, Saul set the new top mark with a time of 2:04.94. The Montoursville, PA native leads the A-10 and ranks 11th best in the nation.  

Drish, a Fisher, IN native, cleared a personal best in the pole vault event at the Hokie Invitational. Placing in second, she recorded a mark of 4.24M. Her mark ranks first in the conference.   

Garibaldi, a Wilmington, DE native, placed seventh in the 400M event at the BU Scarlet & White Invitational. She raced to a time of 56.10, which is the fastest time in the conference. Garibaldi also competed in the 200M, finishing the event in 25.20. Her 200M time ranks eighth in the conference.
