Atlantic 10 Announces Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic, All-Rookie Teams

WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 announced its Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic and All-Rookie teams on Thursday. A total of 54 student-athletes were honored on the honor roll from 12 of the 15 universities. 

The All-Academic teams recognize the accomplishments student-athletes had in the classroom and in athletics. Eligible student-athletes must at least be a sophomore and have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 (4.0 scale). The teams were voted on by the league’s communication directors.  

All-Rookie was composed of the top rookie performers in each event. To be rookie eligible student-athletes must be competing in their first outdoor track and field season. The teams were selected based on the meet results that were submitted through the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS).
