Atlantic 10 Announces Cross Country All-Academic, All-Rookie Teams

WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 recognized 26 men’s and women’s cross country student-athletes on its Men’s and Women’s All-Academic and All-Rookie teams, the A-10 announced on Tuesday. 

Eligible student-athletes for the all-academic team are at least a sophomore and have mantained a 3.0 GPA or higher. The league’s cross country communications directors nominated and voted on the All-Academic teams, and the All-Rookie teams are composed of the top seven finishers at the A-10 Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships.  

William Sinclair was the runner-up in the A-10 men’s individual championship, earning a spot on the All-Academic team. Sinclair alongside his teammate Nate Boutin received All-Academic recognition. Joining the two Ramblers are Chanel Muir of La Salle, Owen Pukys of Dayton, Brayden Bayek of George Washington and Garrett Hartline of Rhode Island.  

Ella Semple, the 2025 A-10 women’s individual champion and Most Outstanding Player, was named to the All-Academic team. She was joined by Roisin Treacy of Loyola Chicago, Gwenno Goode of La Salle, Emily Morden of Saint Louis and Richmond’s Hallie Muniz and Phoebe Rubio. Goode also received All-Region honors at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet, which earned her a qualifying spot in the NCAA National Championship on Saturday, Nov. 22.   

Kamden Kramer, who was crowned the Men’s Most Outstanding Rookie, earned All-Rookie selection. His teammate Alex Bendana also collected All-Rookie recognition as well as Davidson’s Quinn Swanton, Fordham’s James Stappenbeck, Rhode Island’s Maddox Jordan and Matthew Lucas and Richmond’s Andy Condon.  

After claiming the Women's Most Outstanding Rookie award, Annie Norman of Davidson was named to the All-Rookie team. Norman’s teammate Gilly Shumate joined her on the All-Rookie team in addition to GW’s Maya Van Horn, Dayton’s Addison Stephens, Richmond’s Alyson Stepp and Rhode Island’s Keaney Bayha and Jordan Hadfield.
