WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference named Dayton freshman T.J. Kreusch as its Under Armour Men’s Golfer and Rookie of the Week, on Tuesday. Duquesne freshman Sasha Petrochko was tabbed as Under Armour Women’s Golfer of the Week, while Richmond freshman Addie Doroh collected Women’s Rookie of the Week.  

Kreusch led Dayton to a third-place finish at its annual Flyer Invitational with his tie for second place out of 80 competitors. He opened the three-round event with a career-low 65 (-6) on his way to his first career top-five finish. Kreusch led the entire field with a 3.79 average score on par-four holes. Kreusch, a Kettering, Ohio native, helped the Flyers to a third place finish out of 12 teams.  

Petrochko finished in a tie for first at the close of 36 holes at the Red Flash Invitational. She went to a playoff with Victoriah Kuranga, with Kuranga winning on the third hole. Petrochko averaged 4.19 strokes on a par four to finish in a tie for third individually among competitors. Petrochko, a Hermitage, PA native, now owns eight top 10 finishes in 11 career tournaments at the NCAA Division I level, including four in the top five. 

Doroh, a Charlottesville, VA native, shot 72-74-73 over the three-round Evie Odom Invitational She finished 31st out of a pool of 72 competitors. Doroh finished second amongst the Spiders, who placed 12th at the invitational.
