WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference recognized George Washington senior Michael Bohlke as its Under Armour Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week, while La Salle freshman earned Rookie of the Week. Loyola Chicago senior Roisin Treacy collected Under Armour Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Week and Dayton freshman received Rookie of the Week.  

Bohlke shattered the program’s 8K record with a time of 23:21.1, finishing 12th overall in a highly competitive field at the Princeton Invitational. His record-setting run marks a new milestone for the program. Bohlke, a native of Newington, CT, broke the previous time of 23:56, which was set last year. 

Gardner competed in the 8K race at the Princeton Invitational, racing to a time of 24:33.1. The Hobart, Australia native placed 118th overall out of 318 participants from 31 different programs. Gardner was second on the Explorers to finish the race.  

Treacy, from Ashford, Wicklow, Ireland, led Loyola at the Missouri Pre-National Invitational, placing 29th overall. Treacy set a personal-best time of 20:18.2 in a strong showing against an elite national field that included 38 programs. 

Stephens ran a new personal best time of 22:04.1 and was the third Dayton runner across the line at the Bradley Pink Invitational. She was the 14th freshmen to cross the finish line among a nationally competitive meet. The Mason, Ohio native has now set a new personal record in each of her first three collegiate 6K races.
