WASHINGTON – Richmond senior Patrick Isztwan was named Atlantic 10 Men’s Golfer of the Week while his freshman teammate Carson Baez eared A-10 Men’s Rookie of the Week accolades. Saint Joseph’s freshman Elora Walker was named the Atlantic 10 Women’s Golfer and Rookie of the Week. The awards are for tournaments played from Oct. 10-16.
 
Isztwan finished ninth out of 84 players, carding a 210 (68-71-71) in the three-round Redhawk Intercollegiate in Pittsburgh, Pa. It was the first career top-10 finish for the Huntingdon Valley, Pa., product, as he helped the Spiders to a third place finish.
 
Walker paced the Hawks with a season-best round of 79 to tie for fourth place at the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational. As a team, Saint Joseph’ss posted its best finish of its inaugural campaign, placing third in the 14-team field. The Pennsauken, N.J., native was seven over in earning a top-five finish in the 65-player field.
 
Baez, hailing from Windermere, Fla., carded a 208 (71-66-71) to finish sixth at the Redhawk Intercollegiate. His 5-under 66 in the seconds round is tied the 14^th-best round in program history.
