NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference released the 2023 Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic and All-Rookie teams through a joint release Tuesday, tabbing 58 student-athletes from 14 of the league's 15 programs to the prestigious honor roll.
The All-Rookie teams comprise the top-rookie performer in each event from meets conducted from the start of the outdoor season through the Atlantic 10 Championships. The teams were selected based off meet results submitted through the Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS).
The All-Academic teams include student-athletes who were selected based on their athletic and academic performance. To be nominated, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through a vote conducted by the league's communications directors.
