NEW ORLEANS, La. – A total 10 Atlantic 10 women's programs along another nine men's squads were distinguished by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country All-Academic Teams, an annual honor given to programs who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, eight A-10 student-athletes – five men and three women – earned recognition as USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes.
Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, Loyola Chicago, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Richmond and Saint Louis all saw both their men's and women's programs secure the team honor while Duquesne picked up honors only for the women's squad.

The All-Academic Athlete distinction is granted to student-athletes who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
- Must have completed two semesters at nominating institution
- Must have finished in the Top 25 (or 10 percent) at an NCAA Regional Championship or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships
La Salle led the way with five total All-Academic Athletes followed by Loyola Chicago with two and George Mason with one.
