A-10 Track & Field Athletes to Compete in NCAA Preliminary Championships

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Eleven Atlantic 10 schools will be represented at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Preliminary Championships, announced last week by the NCAA. The Preliminary Championships will be held May 28-30. The East region will be held on the campus of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. and the West region at Mike A. Myers Stadium at the University of Texas.

George Mason leads the way with 14 combined men's and women's entries, followed by Duquesne with five, Saint Louis and VCU with four each, and Saint Joseph's with three. La Salle, Rhode Island and Massachusetts each have two representatives, while Davidson, Dayton and Richmond will send one representative each. For full A-10 entries and events, click here.

Top-12 finishes in each event will advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, June 10-13.
