George Mason’s Drish, Weening Represent Atlantic 10 at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Two student-athletes will represent the Atlantic 10 at the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week at Oregon’s Hayward Field – both competing for George Mason.
 
The Patriots sent two standout athletes to the national championship meet: graduate student Kennedy Drish (pole vault) and senior Abby Weening (heptathlon).
 
Drish will compete on Thursday, June 11 in the pole vault, seeded eighth out of 24 competitors. The event is slated to begin at 8:35 p.m. ET.
 
Weening is slated for the heptathlon beginning on Friday, June 12 at 2:45 p.m. ET. The event will continue into Saturday evening.
 
Coverage of the NCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships will air on the ESPN family of networks beginning at 8 p.m. ET each day.
