Following the completion of each Academic Year, the Atlantic 10 Conference honors select student-athletes with Commissioner's Honor Roll Distinction.

The 2018-19 year marks the second year that the Commissioner’s Honor Roll has been based on the entire academic year. Previously the award was granted following each semester.

To be selected for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete in an Atlantic 10-sponsored sport must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and freshmen are eligible to receive the award.

“Academics is at the forefront of our mission as a conference and something our membership puts a high value on,” states A-10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade about the honor.

Prior to fall 2017, to be listed on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete in an Atlantic 10-sponsored sport must have had a 3.5 GPA or better (on a 4.0 scale) during the specified semester. Freshmen were eligible to receive the award.
