Richmond's Daniel Walker and Sebastian MacLean of Xavier were named Co-Golfers of the Week and Rhode Island's Jared Adams earned Rookie of the Week honors the Atlantic 10 Conference announced Wednesday. The awards were the first of the season for the league.

Walker fired back-to-back rounds of five-under-par 66, held the first round lead and finished seventh overall at the 54-hole Marshall Invitational.  It was the third consecutive top-10 finish for the junior, dating back to the 2011 A-10 Championship.  As a team, the Spiders finished seventh at the Marshall Invitational, led by Walker's six-under-par 207 (66-66-75).

MacLean shot a team-best 66 in the third round to finish seventh overall at the 54-hole Marshall Invitational. The senior surged 13 places, improving each round with sub-70 performances in the final 36 holes. MacLean led the Musketeers to a fifth-place finish in the 15-team event.

In his first collegiate action, Adams tied for 10th place overall at the CCSU Blue Devil Invitational.  He opened the 36-hole tournament with a 74, before closing out with a one-over par 72 on Sunday. Adams, who tied for URI's second-best score, helped the Rams place third out of 11 teams at the event.
