WASHINGTON — The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced its weekly honors in cross country. The awards are for meets from September 7-13.

MEN  
Performer of the Week: Ryan Kaiser (So., Langhorne, Pa.), Rhode Island
Rookie Performer of the Week: Henri Rivard (Fr., South Berwick, Maine), Rhode Island

WOMEN
Performer of the Week: Lily Saul (Sr., Montoursville, Pa.), Rhode Island
Rookie Performer of the Week: Mia Gartley (Fr., Leetsdale, Pa.), Duquesne

Rhode Island swept the men’s portion of this week’s Players of the Week, starting with sophomore Performer of the Week Ryan Kaiser. Kaiser finished second overall and first among the Rams at the Nassaney Invitational, clocking a 15:20.9 in the 5K. Just outside the top 20 finished Rookie Performer of the Week Henri Rivard, whose 15:59.4 in the same race was good for second among all freshman at the event.

The Rhodys’ good weekend doesn’t end there, with senior Performer of the Week Lily Saul winning the women’s 5K by a staggering eleven seconds. Saul was the only competitor to clock a sub-18-minute time in the event. Rookie Performer of the Week Mia Garltey was a bright spot for the Dukes, leading Duquesne in her collegiate debut in the 6K with a 24:49.4.
