WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference selected Davidson senior Sib Naaktgeboren as its Under Armour Field Hockey Player of the Week. Saint Louis sophomore Abby Schalow was named Defensive Player of the Week. Davidson freshman Lourdes Wolf was named Rookie of the Week. The three awards were announced Monday and are for games played Sept. 15-21.

Naaktgeboren, a forward from Zwijndrecht, Netherlands, scored three goals and two game-winners in a 2-0 week. She scored the decisive goal in Friday's 3-2 win over La Salle. She followed that with two goals, including the game-winner, in Sunday's 4-2 win over Ohio. Both her goals against Ohio came in the second half, after the teams were tied at two at the break.

A goalie from Newport Beach, Calif., Schalow came up big in goal for the Billikens week, totaling 32 saves across two close matches. She registered a career-high 18 saves in a 3-0 loss at nationally ranked Saint Joseph's. She followed that up with 14 saves as she kept SLU in the game in a narrow 1-0 defeat at Saint Francis.

Wolf scored a key goal in Friday's 3-2 win over La Salle, helping Davidson to a 2-0 week. The forward from Hamburg, Germany, scored the second goal that offset the Explorers’ final goal.
