Earning his first career start in a Dayton uniform, Krenecki collected three saves against Detroit Mercy in a 0-0 draw. He kept the momentum going in Sunday’s 4-0 win at No. 20 Western Michigan, posting a career-high five saves to earn his first victory in goal at UD.

Madsen, a defender from Kalundborg, Denmark, played the full 180 minutes of back-to-back shutouts for the Flyers during the opening week of the season. The freshman dished his first career assist and netted his first career goal, a laser to the upper left corner on a free kick late in the first half.
