WASHINGTON – Nine Atlantic 10 Conference men’s soccer players were ranked in TopDrawerSoccer’s college preseason top 100 rankings, TopDrawerSoccer announced on Tuesday.
Daniel D’lppolito of Fordham was ranked second overall. D’lppolito was named to the A-10's Preseason All-Conference Team. Last season, he earned 2024 A-10 Midfielder of the Year and First Team All A-10 accolades. He ranked third nationally in points (35) and seventh in goals scored (14).
The A-10 had three players ranked in the top 50: D’lppolito, VCU’s Moussa Ndiaye (18th) and Dayton’s Martin Bakken (31st).
The Flyers had four players in the preseason rankings, which is the most of any A-10 school. Dayton was predicted as the preseason favorite, as voted on by the league’s coaches.
George Mason, Saint Louis and VCU also had players ranked in the preseason list.
