WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference recognized Davidson senior Dylan Felt and Saint Louis sophomore Tierney Kohl as its Under Armour Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Performers of the Week, respectively. St. Bonaventure freshmen Matheus Rinaldi and Kate Hill were tabbed as Men’s and Women’s Rookies of the Week, respectively. The awards, which were announced on Tuesday, are for competitions from Oct. 20 to Oct. 26.  

Felt, a Fort Lauderdale, FL native, claimed two gold medals in Davidson’s team win against VMI. Felt won the 200-yard butterfly in 1:52.24 and the 100-yard freestyle in 45.90. His 100-yard free time ranks seventh in the conference, and his 200-fly is eighth in the A-10. 

Rinaldi won gold in St. Bonaventure’s meet against Cleveland State, while earning silver in another event. Rinaldi, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, won the 500-yard freestyle in 4:43.68. He placed second in 1,650-yard freestyle in 15:56.52. Rinaldi’s 1,650-free time ranks first in the conference and 22nd in Division I. 

Kohl won two events to help Saint Louis defeat McKendree. Kohl, who’s from Centennial, CO, swam to first place in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:19.95. She also won gold in the 100-breast in 1:05.95. Kohl’s 200-breast time ranks fourth in the conference.  

Hill won gold in the 100-yard freestyle and silver in the 50-yard freestyle. She earned a first place finish in the 100-free in 52.38 and second place in the 50-free in 24.11. Hill, a Lethbridge, Alberta native, contributed to the 400-freestyle relay team that won gold in 3:31.73.
