WASHINGTON – George Washington is predicted to win a fourth straight Atlantic-10 Women’s Swimming and Diving championship according to the A-10 Preseason Poll, which was released Tuesday afternoon.
The preseason poll was voted on by conference coaches.
The Revolutionaries were a near unanimous selection after GW received 10 first place votes with a total of 120 points. Richmond (105) earned the other first place vote and is predicted to finish in second. Fordham (96) and Duquesne (89) earned the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively. Davidson rounds out the top five with 72 points.
George Mason (64), Massachusetts (57), and St. Bonaventure (48) were tabbed for the sixth, seventh, and eighth spots according to the preseason poll. La Salle (36), Rhode Island (28), and Saint Louis (11) complete the preseason poll in the ninth, tenth, and eleventh spots.
The women’s swimming and diving season began on Sept. 26 and will conclude its campaign at the 2025 A-10 Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship on Feb. 19 to Feb. 22 at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
