George Washington entered the 2026-27 season as the unanimous favorites for the A10 crown, and performances from
Andres Brooks and
Efe Isler show why. Brooks lands the first Performer of the Week after winning the 100-yard fly (47.40) and 200-yard fly (1:44.52) in a dual with William & Mary. Brooks also helped lead the Revolutionaries to a first place finish in the 200-yard meldy relay and 400-yard free relay. Isler started his collegiate career with a bang, winning the 500-yard free (4:29.49) and the 1000-yard free (9:08.55), a time which came just two seconds from besting the George Washington record.
The Revolutionaries continued their success across the board, with
Isabel Sayag earning Performer of the Week. Sayag placed first in the 200-yard fly (2:02.18) and 100-yard fly (55.04). Also helped GW land second in the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard free relay.
Hadleigh Kulas made her impact for George Mason this week, winning the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.80) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:21.71), along with helping the Patriots win the 200-yard medley relay (1:45.57) and take second in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:38.78).
