WASHINGTON -- The Atlantic 10 Conference has partnered with RISE for a conference wide voting workshop to be hosted over Zoom on Wednesday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. EST.

RISE is a national nonprofit that educates and empower the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations.  Through partnerships and programs, they inspire leaders in sports to create positive change on matters of race and equality.
 
With this being an election year, Rise has an initiative called Rise to Vote https://www.risetovote.org/, which engages athletes, coaches, staff and conferences at all levels, educating them on how to vote and why it matters.  The organization equips people with the tools and knowledge to get involved during elections and making a difference.  
 
This Zoom session will cover voting, its importance and will also provide resources for individuals to check their status and complete their registration via their Secretary of State’s website.

All 15 member institutions have been invited to participate in this workshop.
