2022 A-10 Swimming And Diving All-Academic Teams Announced

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- The 2022 Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s and Women’s Academic All-Conference teams were announced Thursday, recognizing student-athletes based on their performance in the pool, as well as in the classroom. 

To be nominated, swimmers and divers must have a GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league’s Sports Information Directors. 

Making up the Men’s Swimming and Diving Academic All-Conference team are Davidson’s Ian Brann, Fordham’s Alex Wilhelm, Thomas Chapman and Anthony Nguyen of George Mason, George Washington’s Marek Osina and Brendan Conley, St. Bonaventure’s Maciej Danilewski and Alec Thomas, and Saint Louis Daniel Verdico and Janssen Gamilla. 

The Women’s Swimming and Diving Academic All-Conference team consisted of Davidson’s Shelby Stanley AND Siena Senn, Duquesne’s Sidney O’Donnell, Fordham’s Clare Culver, George Mason ‘s Jacquee Clabeaux, George Washington’s Carly Perri, Fordham’s Clare Culver, La Salle’s Sara Rizzetto, Richmond’s Claire O’Shaughnessy, and St. Bonaventure’s Rachel Kimmel.
