NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- The 2020 Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Academic All-Conference teams were announced Friday. The Academic All-Conference teams are composed of student-athletes based on both their academic and athletic performance. 

To be nominated, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league’s Sports Information Directors. 

Earning a spot on the men’s Academic All-Conference team are George Mason’s Thomas Amabile, Harrison Shotwell, and Jaylen Simmons, George Washington’s Wesley Robinson, La Salle’s Nathan Gillis, Massachusetts’ Connor Ross and Nicholas Santos, Rhode Island’s Kellen Waters, Saint Joseph’s Matthew Scarpill, and from Saint Louis, Ethan Erusha and Caleb Logan. 

On the women’s side, Davidson’s Eleni Daughters, Dayton’s Emily Borchers, Duquesne’s Laura Ehrenberger, George Washington’s Suzanne Dannheim, Massachusetts’ Emilie Cowan, Jada Harris, and Lindsay Witt, Rhode Island’s Lotte Black, Saint Louis’ Katie Wissing, and VCU’s Ashley Brown and Makayla McGowan.
