"Dewey's Pizza. Closest pizza to NYC pizza. I like the Hawaiian pizza there."

--Jim Jabir, Dayton women's basketball head coach

"Deweys, Pine club, Millanos, Tanks and I would go with Dublin Pub for non-chainy restaurants to some degree"

--Tim Horsmon, Dayton volleyball head coach

"CoCo's Bistro. They have an amazing selection that changes constantly. I've never had a dish there that I did not like. In my opinion they have the best Gourmet Burger in town (it's offered all day, not displayed on the dinner menu though). Completely worth the trip!"

--Simon Harris, Dayton women's basketball assistant coach

"Coco's is way up there. Also, Jimmie's Ladder 11, a renovated fire station with a wide-ranging and eclectic menu, including Piasano Chips - think nachos, but think italian instead of mexican. The "chips" are baked lasgana noodles. Tank's if you want great chili, and Slyders for great burgers.

--Doug Hauschild, Dayton Director of Athletics Communication

"We love Archers Tavern in Centerville. Two of my favorites are, for an appetizer - the chicken wings, traditional with bone in. The regular buffalo wing sause is good, but try the dry rub.
The 8oz. grilled sirloin is excellent. Seasoned just right with steamed veggies - good stuff. If you have a sweet tooth, try Archer's Bread Pudding."

--Jeff House, Dayton women's basketball assistant coach

"I ate at Corner Kitchen downtown for the first time last night and had an amazing burger there. Pretty cool spot. I eat Potbelly for lunch most days. And love Dewey's and Milano's too."

--Audrey Ludwig, Dayton volleyball assistant coach

"My favorite place to eat in Dayton is CoCo's Bistro. From the amazing food to the outstanding service & hospitality, it just gives the feel as if I've been going there for years. The atmosphere is so nice. Their menu has so many great options but if I had to choose just one meal I would say their grilled cheese, tomato soup, & onion straws!"

--Kayla Ard, Dayton women's basketball assistant coach

"My favorite breakfast spot is Butter Cafe. With a warm, friendly staff that's always willing to take on our group for team meals and gatherings, Butter Cafe always hits the spot! My favorite meals there are the French toast kabobs and the Mexican omelet.

For lunch, it is Fusion. I love sushi and this place is made to order and fast! They have seasonal options so you can always try your favorite sushi with a different twist.

For dinner, it has to be Deweys. Whether it's an official visit dinner or a night out with my family, their salads and pizza cannot be beat!"

--Sarah Haveman, Dayton Director of Women's Track and Field/Head Coach Women's Cross Country

For dinner, there are plenty of options to choose from. My personal go-to is the shrimp scampi tortellini preceded by a nice caesar salad! Can’t go wrong with Coco’s.""Coco’s Bistro is the obvious choice! For lunch, the tomato bisque and grilled cheese is an absolute must! Especially with treatment like this:
