WASHINGTON – Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade announced Wednesday that Amy Kampf has been named Director of Finance for the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Kampf will oversee the league’s financial operations. She will be responsible for execution of all accounting functions and business operations, including budget forecasting and management, contract analysis, the coordination of the annual audit and preparation of A-10 financial reports.  Additionally, she will lead the conference office IT support and technical operations.

“On behalf of the league, I welcome Amy to the A-10.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in finance and budgeting,” stated McGlade. “Amy has over a decade of working with various organizations and non-profits in an accounting role, including the last six with the American Alliance of Museums here in Washington, D.C. Her expertise will benefit the Atlantic 10 and our member institutions as the A-10 and NCAA move into a new era in college sports.”

Kampf has spent the last six years with the American Alliance of Museums, beginning in 2019 as a Senior Accountant and rising to the role of Associate Vice President of Finance and Administration. She oversaw the organization’s finance and administration functions, including accounting, human resources, procurement, contracting and risk management. During her tenure with the Alliance, she also coached staff on budgeting and updated the accounting software.

“I’m excited to join the Atlantic 10 and work within college athletics and higher education,” Kampf said. “This role provides opportunities to help shape the A-10’s financial future as sports at the collegiate level undergo a historic change. I want to thank Commissioner McGlade and the Atlantic 10 staff for this opportunity and I’m excited to work with the league’s 14 member institutions.”

Prior to working with the American Alliance of Museums, Kampf was an accountant with Busboys and Poets and Creative Learning. She also spent two years at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito, Calif., as an accountant and database manager.

A competitive swimmer, Kampf received her Bachelor of Arts from St. Olaf College. She has an accounting certificate from UC Berkley.
