WASHINGTON – 10 student-athletes from six Atlantic 10 baseball programs landed on 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region Teams, announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association on Tuesday.
Four A-10 teams received multiple All-Region recognitions: Dayton, Rhode Island, Richmond and Saint Joseph’s. Fordham and A-10 champion VCU each landed one student-athlete on an All-Region team.
Dayton second baseman Danny MacDougall was named to the East All-Region First Team, while Flyers outfielder Michael Smith Jr. received Second Team honors. Saint Joseph’s catcher Blake Primrose and relief pitcher Christian Coppola helped lead the Hawks to an Atlantic 10 regular season title, earning East All-Region First Team accolades in the process.
Richmond pitcher Joey Giordano joined Spiders first baseman Dylan Winebrenner on the Atlantic All-Region Second Team. Rhode Island outfielder Jack Hopko landed on the Northeast All-Region First Team and Rams shortstop Reece Moroney picked up Second Team honors.
VCU catcher Jacob Lee, who was named A-10 Championship Most Outstanding Player after a dominant week at Capital One Park, earned Atlantic All-Region First Team honors. Fordham catcher Tommy McAndrews received a spot on the Northeast All-Region First Team.
The ABCA/Rawlings All-Region teams are selected by members of the ABCA, overseen by the NCAA Div. I All-America & Coach of the Year Committee. First team All-Region selections are available for ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors. The 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-America teams will be announced on Friday, June 12, prior to the start of the NCAA Division I College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
