TYSONS, Va. -- Due to increasingly heavy rains, the Friday evening Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship consolation final between VCU and Saint Joseph's was suspended Friday evening. It is now scheduled to resume at 1:00 pm Saturday. Any further changes will be posted here and on the Atlantic 10 X account.

VCU was leading 2-0 in the bottom of the first inning with two outs when the game was suspended. The Rams had Quinn Maher coming to bat and Nate Kirkpatrick on first base and Nick Flores on second base.

The championship game, originally scheduled for noon Saturday, will be played 45 minutes after the conclusion of game nine (at approximately 4:00 pm), and the if necessary game would immediately follow that first championship game.
