Dunn Taken by Toronto Tempo in 2026 WNBA Draft 4/13/2026 10:57:00 PM NEW YORK – Davidson guard Charlise Dunn made program history Monday night when she was selected by the Toronto Tempo with the 36th pick of the 2026 WNBA Draft at The Shed at Hudson Yards in Manhattan. A three-year starter and three-time All–Atlantic 10 selection, Dunn was the only mid-major player chosen in the 2026 draft and the first Davidson basketball player drafted since Stephen Curry went seventh overall in the 2009 NBA Draft. Transferring from Virginia Tech after her freshman year, Dunn went on to become one of the most decorated Davidson women's basketball players in program history, leading the team to back-to-back Atlantic-10 semifinal appearances and the first 20-win season for the Wildcats since 2012-13. A native of Victoria, Australia, she finished her three-season career at Davidson with 1,134 points and 556 rebounds. She ranks 13th all-time in career scoring and 12th in rebounds for the Wildcats. Dunn is third all-time in program history in free throw percentage (.819), fifth in 3-point attempts (496), and sixth in 3-pointers made (155). Defensively, she ranks 10th all-time with 79 career blocks. During her senior season, Dunn totaled 504 points, the fourth-highest single-season mark in Davidson history. She averaged 15.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting .835 from the free-throw line. Dunn earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team and All-Academic honors in 2026 after being named to the All-Conference Second Team in each of the previous two seasons. Her postseason recognition in 2025–26 marked the third consecutive year she received conference honors. Dunn tied the Davidson program record with three career 30-point games. Her career-high was 33 points against No. 7 Baylor on Nov. 22, 2025.
