WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference has recognized Richmond junior Lucas Littlejohn as the Under Armour Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. Saint Joseph’s senior Tommy Gross was named Defensive Player of the Week. St. Bonaventure freshman Miles Tropea and Saint Joseph’s freshman Will Barber were named Co-Rookies of the Week. The awards were announced on Monday and are for games played Feb 16-22.

The Silver Spring, Md., native also recorded a caused turnover and two ground balls. Two of the 13 saves came in the final 15 seconds to preserve the one goal victory.

Tropea scored his first two career goals in Tuesday's win over defending NEC champion Robert Morris. The attacker from Seattle, Wash., recorded both goals during the second half as the Bonnies put away an RMU rally that had tied the game in the third quarter

Barber followed up a hat trick performance last week with a pair of goals against #17/16, including a highlight worthy behind-the-back goal to give the Hawks a two-goal cushion in the fourth quarter. An attacker from Macungie, Pa. caused two turnovers in the win.
