TAMPA, Fla. – VCU men's soccer defender Moussa Ndiaye earned one of the USL League Two's major awards for his performance with the Vermont Green FC this summer, tabbed as the USL 2 Defender of the Year.
A pillar of the Rams' back line, Ndiaye brought his defensive prowess to Burlington, Vermont, for a second summer to help the club advance to the national final unbeaten. Compiling a 11-0-3 record during the season, one of just three unbeaten teams in the league, Vermont Green FC hosts the USL 2 Championship Game on Saturday, August 2.

A season ago, the Dakar, Senegal, native was named No. 50 among TopDrawerSoccer's midseason top 100 players before garnering VaSID Defensive Player of the Year honors with the Rams.
