The Patriots would tie the school record for wins with a victory against Samford.

The Bulldogs went 12-6 in the Southern Conference and tallied 22 victories on the year.

LOYOLA CHICAGO at SAN JOSE STATE

This marks the second consecutive NIT appearance for the Ramblers and seventh overall as a program. Loyola has made six postseason appearances with head coach Drew Valentine on staff, three with him at the helm. The Ramblers reached the NCAA Tournament in his first year as head coach.
