Francioli, a goalkeeper from Baltimore, collected 11 saves in 60 minutes of play. She only allowed 10 goal and currently has a .524 save percentage. Francioli helped the Spiders to the 12-10 win over No. 19 Penn State.

Piocquidio scored two goals on two shots in her collegiate debut as Duquesne used a late comeback to down Akron in overtime in Saturday's season opener. A midfielder from Beaver County, Pa., Piocquidio sparked Duquesne's late comeback with a free-position goal at the 6:38 mark in the fourth quarter, igniting a run of four unanswered goals to send the game to overtime.
