WASHINGTON — Saint Louis secured its third A-10 regular season title of the last five years with a 1-1 tie against Rhode Island on Saturday night, clinching the league’s top seed ahead of next week’s A-10 Men’s Soccer Championship. The eight-team, single-elimination tournament begins Friday, Nov. 7 with on-campus quarterfinal action. Every game of the 2025 championship will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Saint Louis finished the 2025 regular season without a loss in A-10 play for the fourth time in program history, producing a 5-0-3 conference record to earn 18 points. Ranked No. 22 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, Saint Louis posted an overall mark of 8-2-6 highlighted by nonconference victories against No. 22 Seton Hall and SMU. The Billikens will host No. 8 seed La Salle on Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. ET. The Explorers earned the last spot in the A-10 Championship with 10 points, going 2-2-4 in league play.
Fordham closed the regular season with a dominant performance, defeating St. Bonaventure 5-0 at home on Saturday afternoon to clinch the No. 2 seed with a 5-1-2 A-10 record and 17 points. The Rams will host No. 7 seed Saint Joseph’s on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. ET, after Saint Joseph’s went 3-2-3 in A-10 play to tally 12 points.
Dayton enters the A-10 Championship as the No. 3 seed, leapfrogging multiple teams in the standings on the final day of competition with a 1-0 victory over Loyola Chicago to reach 15 points. Dayton concluded the regular season with a 4-1-3 league record, 6-2-7 overall. The Flyers will host No. 6 VCU in the quarterfinals on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. ET. VCU picked up a much-needed victory against Davidson on Saturday to secure its spot in the championship with 12 points, concluding the regular season with a 3-2-3 league record and a 6-5-5 overall mark.
Davidson earned the No. 4 seed in the A-10 Championship with a 4-2-2 record and 14 points in A-10 play, going 8-6-3 overall. The Wildcats will host No. 5 seed George Mason on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. ET. The Patriots also concluded the regular season with a 4-2-2 A-10 record, but dropped to the No. 5 seed due to the tiebreaker procedures. George Mason concluded the regular season with a 1-0 win over Duquesne on Saturday.
Following the quarterfinal round, pairings will be re-seeded heading into the semifinals, which will be played on the campuses of the two highest remaining seeds on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The championship final will be played on the home field of the highest seed on Sunday, Nov. 16 at noon local time.
The winner of the Atlantic 10 Men’s Soccer Championship will receive the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
