RICHMOND, Va. — University of Richmond women's basketball graduate forward Tierra Simon has been named to the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year Preseason Top 20 Watch List, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced Wednesday.

The award, presented annually by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, recognizes the top small forward in Division I women's college basketball.

Simon, a transfer from Saint Louis, started all 32 games for the Billikens last season and averaged 8.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and one block per game. She recorded seven double-doubles and ranked fifth in the Atlantic 10 in rebounding and ninth in blocks. Simon scored in double figures 14 times, including two 19-point performances, and finished the season with 285 total rebounds, 32 blocks and 37 steals.

Fan voting for the Cheryl Miller Award will open Friday, Oct. 31 at hoophallawards.com. The list will narrow to 10 players in late January, with the Final Five announced in March. The winner will be revealed at the 2026 NCAA Women's Final Four in Indianapolis.
