TYSONS, Va. — Owen Petrich was the hero for No. 7 Saint Joseph’s, hitting a walk-off single Friday to send the Hawks to a 13-12 win over No. 5 George Washington in the consolation semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship Friday at Capital One Park.
The Hawks (29-25) reach the consolation final, one win away from Championship Saturday and will face the Richmond/VCU loser. George Washington (31-26) suffered its second loss of the tournament and was eliminated.

Matt McShane (5-2) went one inning and allowed just one hit and no runs in claiming the win.
Five different GW players collected multi-hits and four players recorded two RBI each for the Revs. Teddy Brennan (2-7) took the loss for George Washington.
