WASHINGTON -- The Atlantic 10 Conference announced La Salle graduate student Drew Blackwell as its Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Loyola Chicago redshirt sophomore Aidan Crawford was named the Defensive Player of the Week, while Dayton freshman Andrew Armstrong was tabbed as the Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Week. The awards, which were announced on Monday after the final week of play, are for games played from Oct. 28 - Nov. 2.

Blackwell tallied an assist and scored the game-winning goal in a come-from-behind 2-1 win against George Washington to clinch a berth in the Atlantic 10 Championship. The Wilmington, Del. native set up the game-tying goal in 80th minute and scored the winner in 85th, both goals coming while down a man.

Crawford held Saint Joseph's scoreless through his 86:51 minutes between the posts. The Wilmette, Ill. native faced 14 shots and racked up 7 saves, one shy of tying his career high.

Armstrong started both games in wins over VCU and Saint Louis as the Flyers finished runners-up in the A-10 regular season standings. The freshman forward totaled four points and scored two goals for the second straight game in the 2-0 victory over the Rams Wednesday, including the game-winner. The Pompton Lakes, N.J. native recorded seven shots and put four on target, and leads all A-10 freshman in goals with seven on the year. This is Armstrong's third rookie accolade of the year.
