NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference has named George Washington graduate-student Jenna Cone its Softball Player of the Week, while Colonials' teammate, sophomore Maggie Greco earned Rookie of the Week. Fordham sophomore Devon Miller took home Pitcher of the Week accolades. The awards, announced Monday and presented by Biosteel, are for games played Apr. 19-25.

Cone led the way for GW offensively in a series win at Saint Louis, slashing .467/.529/1.267 with three home runs and 10 RBIs over four games. The infielder from Trabuco Canyon, Calif., had at least one hit in each game, and six of her seven hits went for extra bases. She recorded her second grand slam of the season in the fourth inning of Saturday's second game and later added a two-run shot in a 9-2 win. On Sunday, she had a pair of doubles in an 8-2 win to open the day before capping the weekend by going 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs in a 15-2 victory.

Miller was once again nearly unhittable in the circle, posting two more shutouts at La Salle this weekend, the third and fourth of her season. The sophomore from Chadds Ford, Pa., started the first game of each day, first allowing only five baserunners while striking out six and then punching out 10, her sixth double-digit strikeout performance of the year. All told, she struck out 16 in 14 frames with just one extra-base hit allowed and 11 total baserunners. For the year, she is now 10-2 with a 1.37 ERA with 115 strikeouts over 71.2 innings with eight complete games, four shutouts, across 15 appearances and 11 starts. She's allowed just 11 extra-base hits.

Greco started and had hits in all three of GW's wins at Saint Louis last weekend. The Bolingbrook, Ill., utility player slashed .429/.636/.571 with three RBIs and two runs scored. She also made an impact defensively with a pair of outfield assists to throw out attempting to score. Her best game came in Sunday's opener when she reached three times with a single and two walks in four plate appearances.
