BRONX, N.Y. – Sixth-seeded George Washington edged past third-seeded Dayton, 2-1, in game two of the 2018 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship at Bahoshy Field on the campus of Fordham University.

The Colonials (12-11 A-10, 33-19 overall) advance in the winner's bracket to face No. 2 Fordham Thursday at 2:30 pm. Dayton (15-8 A-10, 28-24 overall) drops into the consolation bracket and will face George Mason Wednesday at 5:00 pm.

With the score tied at one apiece, Faith Weber knocked in the eventual game-winning run with a solo home run over the left field wall, giving the Colonials the 2-1 advantage heading into the bottom of the seventh.
