NEWPORT NEWS, Va.—The Atlantic 10 announced Wednesday that it has named nine women’s rowers selected to the All-Academic team for 2016. The team was chosen by a vote of the league’s rowing media relations directors.
Five rowers that were previously selected for 2016 All-Conference honors were chosen for the All-Academic team, which honors student-athletes for their combined prowess in both the classroom and in the boat.
Massachusetts and Duquesne each had two student-athletes honored, the most of any school.
