All three of Rhode Island's boats advanced to the D Finals of the 2026 NCAA Women's Rowing Championship Friday afternoon after an extensive day of racing at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainsville, Ga. Originally scheduled for tomorrow morning, the Championship Semifinals were moved to Friday afternoon due to expected poor weather tomorrow in Georgia.

Rhode Island began its morning with a pair of fifth place finishes across both its Varsity 8+ and Second Varsity 8+ boats. The Rams edged out former conference foe Massachusetts in each race. Massachusetts, who left the Atlantic 10 last offseason for the Mid-American Conference, made the NCAA field as the MAC's automatic qualifier.
