Atlantic 10 Softball Championship Adjusts Schedule Due to Rain

WASHINGTON, D.C.— The Atlantic 10 Conference Softball Championship, being played at George Washington University’s Mount Vernon Athletic Complex, has been delayed by steady rains that blanketed the area Wednesday afternoon.

The entire championship has been moved back one day. Game one, which was suspended with one out in the bottom of the first inning and no score, will resume at noon on Thursday. Games two and three will then be played following game one.

Games originally scheduled for Thursday will now be played Friday and the semifinals have been moved to Saturday. The championship game and the additional if necessary game will now be contested on Sunday.

All weather updates regarding the championship will be posted on Atlantic10.com.
