Sierra Ballard serves as Director of Championship Administration and Executive Support for the Atlantic 10 Conference. In her role, she supports the administration of select Olympic sports and championships, including regular-season scheduling, championship planning and operations, and sport-related communications. She also provides administrative and operational support to the Commissioner, assisting with scheduling, meetings, travel, special projects, and Conference initiatives.
Ballard brings experience in championship operations, student-athlete engagement, and leadership to the Atlantic 10. Prior to joining the Conference, she served as a Competition & Student-Athlete Engagement Intern with the Southeastern Conference, assisting with championship planning and operations, student-athlete programming, and professional development initiatives. She also created and managed a new courtesy car program for the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament.
A former NCAA Division I gymnast at LSU, Ballard helped the Tigers capture the program’s first NCAA national championship in 2024 and back-to-back SEC Championships in 2024 & 2025. She served two years as president of LSU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Ballard earned a bachelor’s degree in finance, an MBA, and a master’s degree in sport management from LSU. Her honors include NCAA Beam All-America recognition and three selections to the SEC Community Service Team.
