Scott McBurney serves as the Executive Director of Content & Brand Strategy for the Atlantic 10 Conference, where he oversees the Conference’s creative strategy, A-10 Studio operations, and Advanced Media department. He leads the development of original programming, video production, and content initiatives across social, digital, and broadcast platforms while working to elevate the Atlantic 10 brand and expand audience engagement.

McBurney has more than 30 years of experience as a media executive, award-winning producer, and strategic storyteller. Since joining the Atlantic 10 in 2023, he has leveraged three decades of leadership experience from the Atlantic Coast Conference, where he served as Associate Commissioner for Advanced Media for 27 years. Throughout his career, he has created and overseen impactful video campaigns, documentaries, public service initiatives, and digital media projects that strengthen organizational identities and connect audiences with brands.

A Regional Emmy Award winner with more than 15 Regional Emmy nominations, McBurney has served as executive producer for more than thirty long-form documentaries and hundreds of network television campaigns. His work has earned industry recognition, including NATPE IRIS Awards, NACDA honors, and recognition at multiple film festivals. He is recognized for combining creative vision with strategic leadership to develop innovative storytelling initiatives across the sports media landscape.
