Kim Record serves as the Deputy Commissioner for the Atlantic 10 Conference, where she is a member of the senior leadership team overseeing the day-to-day operations of one of the nation’s leading NCAA Division I athletic conferences. In this role, she helps guide strategic initiatives, organizational effectiveness, and conference-wide engagement while supporting the continued growth and success of the Atlantic 10.

Record brings more than three decades of experience in intercollegiate athletics, with a career focused on leadership, student-athlete success, and organizational advancement. Prior to joining the Atlantic 10 in 2023, she served as Deputy Athletic Director at the University of Virginia, where she led external initiatives, served as Senior Woman Administrator, and supervised select sport programs. She previously spent 12 years as Director of Athletics at UNC Greensboro, where she led significant growth in fundraising, academic achievement, facilities, and competitive success, including 15 Southern Conference championships and numerous NCAA postseason appearances.

A respected national leader in college athletics, Record has served in leadership roles with the NCAA Council, Council Coordination Committee, Committee on Academics, Women’s Soccer Committee, and Competition Oversight Committee. She also served on the executive committee of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Record earned her master’s degree from Florida State University and began her career at Virginia, where she advanced through roles in athletic administration.
